1. "Redesigning stellarator coil design", given on April 16th, 2020 for the Stellarator Seminar Series at PPPL. In this talk, I introduced automatic differentiation (AD) as a tool for gradient-based optimization and discussed some initial results from using AD to design stellarator coils with finite thickness.
